Sean & Lisa

Well, last weekend was completely awesome.  Wifey and I went down to Florida for Cindy and Aaron's wedding.  We had never been to Cocoa Beach, which is close to Cape Canaveral - so they have AIR SHOWS every day of the week.  WOOSH WOOSH, WEEOOWEEOOOWEEOO!!!!!!!

The most amazing thing about Florida as it turns out is that you get to share a motel room with people.  In our case, we were paired up with Sean and Lisa.  Sean Wilson is an old friend of myself and Wifey.  I met Sean during a camping trip known as Wild Weekend a number of years ago. He had some sort of ocerana thing around his neck and sang songs of wonder at the forest creatures.

Wifey knew Sean from Alma.

While Sean was familiar to both of us, Lisa Bane was the wildcard of the temporary roommate arrangement. (Isn't Bane an awesome last name.  With all the comic book references throuought the weekend, I'm surprised there was no mention of breaking Sean's back across her knee.  The Hulk was a much more prominent theme of the visit. Mostly due to my insistance on wearing my Hulk shirt for the entire weekend.  This also led to the trip's #1 quote by Sean - "Don't Invite me to your wedding... you wouldn't like me at your wedding").

Comic-based last name aside, the wildcard known as Lisa turned out to be a complete asset for the weekends's shenanagans.  Mostly from her being a heavy sleeper, allowing wifey and I to make noise in room with only Sean to be annoyed while Lisa slept away.

Unfortunately, I must take the couple down a donut for Lisa's uncompromising non-gamer attitude.  Just the mention of Magic : The Gathering sent her running back to the room.  Nevertheless, Sean was able to partake in gaming a couple times with myself and Wifey.  So while an anti-game stance will usualy incur a maximum 3 donut rating, the two had enough of an awesome factor in many other areas enough to pull off the 4 donut rating.

Besides, if I love Wifey enough to give up horror movies and not flinch - I can understand Mr. Wilson's sacrifice.
