7-11 - 4.0 Donuts
Starbucks - 2.5 Donuts
Several 7/11s around Boston started selling these amazing apple fritters a few years back. Largish (larger than two normal donuts), covered in a gooey glaze, with big chunks of apple inside. You can eat these as is, or heat it for a few seconds in the microwave. These never seem stale, no matter what time of day you find them. Chewy, with just the right hint of apple flavor. 4/5 donuts, current price about $1.45 with tax. (Occasionally available in blueberry form as well, which I like EVEN MORE, although I haven't seen the blueberry ones in a while.)
Compare this to the Starbucks apple fritter: not as large, icing isn't nearly as good, and these seem more stale the later in the day you get them. Almost HAVE to nuke these for a good eating experience. And they're more expensive - I think $1.75 plus tax. 2.5/5 donuts.
